Visited a family of Humboldt penguins today at our local seal sanctuary, very cute little fellas.
There’s thought to be fewer than 10,000 pairs of Humboldt penguins still surviving in the wild, on the coasts of Chile, colonies like the ones we saw today could well be a lifeline to the endangered species.
